Part of the trail dates back to the 1920s, when Dan Duggan established his tourism attraction The Maze, later called Paradise. In homage to Duggan, who rowed tourists across the river in all their finery, eager to experience the beauty of the rainforest, the Kuranda Riverboat tour recreates aspects of his original tourism venture.  At the end of your guided walk, you will be served light refreshments in an outdoor rainforest tea room.
