Phillip Island Twilight Cruise

Set out on a sunset cruise from Phillip Island that takes in sights along Western Port Bay near the Mornington Peninsula. Snack on complimentary hot and cold appetizers served during the cruise; drinks are available for purchase from the full bar.Make your way to Cowes Jetty in the late afternoon to board your spacious 62-foot (19-meter) catamaran for your twilight cruise. Set out on Western Port Bay as your captain shares commentary about key sights that you pass, including the navy submarine HMAS Otama that sits off of Crib Point. Keep an eye out for wildlife including Australian fur seals, dolphins and seabirds. You might see short-tailed shearwaters (muttonbirds) as they return to their burrows on French Island after a day of feeding at sea. These humble birds complete an extraordinary annual migration that goes from Australia to Japan, Siberia, Alaska, down the coast of North America to California, then across the Pacific Ocean to return to Australia. We offer a penguin parade service - we take you to the penguins and return you to your accommodation on Phillip Island and San Remo. Also included is a sightseeing drive from the Nobbies Centre to the Summerland Beach, where the penguins come in. • Taken to the Nobbies and have a walk on the Boardwalk and may see penguins in their burrows • Taken on the coast road to the penguins where you will see wallabies in the wild, Cape Barron geese, bird life and a beautiful coastline • Dropped at the penguins • Picked up from the penguins • Picked up / dropped off at your Phillip Island accommodationIf you do not have a car or transport to get yourself to the penguin parade, a service is offered to pick you up from your accommodation on Phillip Island, taken to the Nobbies, where you will be able to walk the boardwalk and may sight a penguin in its burrow. You will see beautiful coastal views. After the Nobbies you are taken on the coast road to the penguins. You will see wallabies, Cape Barron geese, birds and great views. You are dropped of at the penguins about an hour before they are due to arrive and and after the penguins, you will be picked up and returned to your accommodation.,

We leave Kilcunda and drive through the Bass Coast Hinterland and head back to Phillip Island, stopping on the way to look at views from San Remo. You are taken to the famous surf beaches on Phillip Island - Cape Woolamai Surf Beach and Surf Beach and then head to the Purple Hen Winery at Rhyll, where you will have some wine tasting. We leave the winery and drive to the Nobbies and have a look at the wonderful views and you can walk the Nobbies boardwalk. After a short stop we drive to Red Hill in the Mornington Peninsula and visit 5 to 6 wineries, a brewery, an olive grove and if the Red Hill Market is on we will stop and have a look. Lunch will be ta a winery and then we drive around and look at what Mornington Peninsula has to offer, before we head back to Phillip Island where we will finish the day sightseeing the beautiful rugged Phillip Island coastline and the iconic surf beaches Phillip Island is known for. You will be dropped back to your accommodation at around 5.30 pm. A great day will be had by all.
