Discover the Richness of Chachapoyas Culture within this half-day tour: Walk along the most traditional colonial houses with balconies; Stare at breathtaking views from amazing canyons and viewpoints; lastly, Learn about the pottery process at a traditional house while contributing with the community.We will start our tour walking from Burgos square, across one of the main streets of the city, to Chachapoyas main square, where we will see traditional colonial houses with balconies, including the Municipal Palace and the Cathedral of Chachapoyas. Then, we will go by bus to Luya Urco viewpoint, where we will enjoy the panoramic view of the city. We will continue by bus to the town of Huanca, a community known for its pottery. On our way, we will visit the viewpoint in Huanca Urco Canyon, where we will look through binoculars the first fall of Gocta waterfall and the Town of the dead; and then, we will go to the viewpoint in Sonche Canyon, where we will see the varied and rugged geography of the Amazonian Andes. We will end our tour in a traditional house to witness the pottery process, where we can participate and make our own ceramics.
Gocta Waterfall - Amazonas Perú

Considered as one of the highest waterfalls in the world, located in the middle of the high forest of the province of Bongará in the Amazon Region, Peru. Full-Day Karajia Sarcophagi and Caverns of Quiocta Tour from Chachapoyas

Chachapoyas Revash Mausoleums and Museum of Leymebamba Full-Day Tour
Come and discover the Mausoleums of Revash, which are high valuable constructions of funeral homes; and immerse into the Chachapoyas history at the Museum of Centro Mallqui or well-known as Leymebamba Museum, which replicates local architectural traditions.We will go on horseback from the town of San Bartolo to the Mausoleums of Revash, which are constructions of funeral homes at the foothills of huge rocks; they are painted in red and cream color, which resemble small houses. Some are up to three floors high, and others have gable roofs with T-shaped, cross-shaped and square windows. The mausoleums can be observed from 100 meters approximately. It is a strategic point to fully appreciate the funerary complex. Then, we will visit the museum of Centro Mallqui or Leymebamba Museum, which design replicates local architectural traditions. This museum holds a valuable collection of 240 mummies found in the Lagoon of the Condors. At this place we will have lunch.
Kuelap Ancient Fortress Day Trip by Cable Car from Chachapoyas
Come and discover the fortified citadel of Kuelap, home of the Chachapoyas Cloud Warriors. The massive stone walls and hundreds of ruins stand as a reminder of a formidable culture lost to historyThe fortress is located in the department of Amazonas and it is considered one of the most important archaeological buildings of the mountainous Peruvian forest. Early in the morning we will depart from Chachapoyas City to Kuelap, the Ancient Fortress of the Chachapoyas Cloud Warriors. On the way, we will make a short stop for a panoramic view of Macro, a group of pre-Inca dwellings and burial chambers built on the side of a mountain. When we arrive to Nuevo Tingo town, we will board the cable car system which takes us to the Kuelap tourist center. From there we can hike up to the archaeological site about 15 to 20 minutes or take the hourseback option.The most important archaeological site in northern Peru will receive us with impressive walls that stand approximately 20m (65 feet) tall and 584m (639 yards) long. Inside we will be able to appreciate nearly 400 houses, and many other incredible ceremonial buildings. Much of the site is still covered by trees, laden with bromeliads orchids and mosses which give us the sense of mystery and discovery.At the end of the excursion we will return to Tingo Nuevo town by the cable car system, have lunch and return to your Hotel.

Gocta Waterfalls Full-Day Experience from Chachapoyas
Be amazed by one of the world's greatest waterfalls called Gocta. Immerse in this adventure and access to one of the highest falls in the world, 771m high (2,530 feet), by a 6-hour hiking or horseback ride through a path in which we will able to feel the nature and have many opportunities to take pictures of the Gocta falls from different angles. Take a fresh shower from the waterfall’s spray, hear its roar and sense the mist of the falls. You can not miss this unique experience!Early in the morning we will depart from Chachapoyas City and after an hour and a quarter journey, we will get to the village called Cocachimba, located 26 miles (42km) from Chachapoyas City. From here we will start our hiking or horseback riding to the Gocta waterfall. This waterfall is considered one of the tallest waterfalls in the world. The hiking to Gocta waterfalls takes two hours and a half approximately. In the path, we will discover indescribable landscapes, hear the sound of nature and smell the surrounding jungle. There are good chances to observe monkeys and the Peruvian bird cock of the rock.Gocta waterfalls will receive us with a fresh sprays and its roar. The sense of mysticism will surround us. You can go for a swim but the pool beneath the falls the water is deep and very cold.
